since i don't go back to work til the 2nd, i figured a picture of the newest member of the triho house would be a good substitute for my empty chair. bailey is 10 months old and i brought him home yesterday from the humane society. he is incredibly sweet, but he has a cold at the moment. upper respiratory infections in cats are rough, but hopefully he will get better soon, and back to his playful, adorable self! :) happy new year's everyone! i will probably hang out at vince's party tonight with jackie, since i can't seem to find michelle and noelle...but it will be a blast, either way...i love champagne! :)

so laura's car is now a p.o.s...it has been two weeks and the poor girl has had no reliable transportation. sometimes i play taxi cab but on one of the few occasions that i actually have plans, she gets stuck at home. we saw colleen and woj and pete and jeff and jamie camilier and matt watson over break...it made me remember why i liked high school so much...it was so great!...the last poll deemed sleepover's a good idea...so now i go to work on the plans for one...i also saw adam clark this week...one of the lucky ones to graduate on time he is working for good ole ibm in minnesota..i have missed him!...i took pictures of break with my new digital camera!!! now i can make some amazing photo albums...so check back soon for some cool new pictures to be plastered everywhere...school starts on the 8th...and my schedule sucks. but enough complaining...i have a new cat! starting saturday, bailey the cat..who is the sweetest cat i know...will be the newest member of the triho house. don't worry, there will be many, many pictures of him :) new year's eve plans are still up in the air...hopefully i will find something really cool to do to celebrate 01.01.01!! :) in the meantime, work calls my name. it never ends!

snow sucks. unless you are inside and have a beautiful, peaceful view of some winter scenery, snow is bad. i don't find shoveling my car out, freezing while driving, and trudging through knee-deep snow to be a good time. go away, snow! we had a semi-party on friday, of which i don't remember much...apparently it was a ridiculous party...some unexpected and unwelcome people showed up, two people disappeared (one of them being myself), and really annoying people that have a name that starts with a 'd' would not leave and decided to harrass laura. so guys, sorry i worried everyone and laura, sorry about your horrendous experience that night. we will have to throw another one to make up for the catastrophe of that night...i have an idea: a huge sleepover! what's your thoughts:

i can't get my car out. it snowed like crazy last night, and sure enough, my car is stuck. i have to get back out there to start the shoveling...these are the times i hate michigan and winter. and it's only december. finals week is going ok...i only have two and they are both on friday...so that worked out pretty well. thursday night will be hell, but i am trying to get a lot of studying in tonight and tomorrow. :) tomorrow is our open house at work, so come one, come all and visit the webcam! :) we are at 1223 Turner St. in Lansing...on the bottom floor. well, it's off to work i go...no more snow!

i have wet shoes. :( seriously, the sole cracked so badly that anytime i go near wet ground, i get wet socks. so any donations to the purchase of some new shoes would be greatly appreciated. :) the work cam seems to be going pretty well. i have only caught a few people on here, but every now and then someone walks up behind me :) the mirror on my monitor helps so that people don't scare the crap out of me when i am listening to headphones :) on the homefront, things seem to be going good. i screwed up rent for the month of october, so now we might get evicted...well, ok...we are not going to get evicted but i sure had laura and marc scared for a while...if we don't pay by the 13th, we have to find a new home...but not to worry! i am great at fixing my own mistakes... now if only school were as easy as paying someone off...oh well...finals start monday and i am not ready. well, i am ready for school to be done...but not for finals... wish me luck!

well, the camera is up at work! :) the only problem is, i have to log off after i am done for the day. so you will be stuck with whatever the last picture of the day is until i come back into work :) but i will try to find something interesting to do with that. but for now, enjoy the work pictures... the guys you see behind me are my co-workers. most often, you will probably see the guy who shares my space: ben. he is a cool guy who wears fun sweaters and clothes to work sometimes :) if you see a guy with a ponytail, that's steve...the guy with a full beard is john creed...and the guy with the smaller goatee is adam. scott likes to dance behind me because i have a mirror on my monitor so that people don't sneak up on me...he entertains me with his craziness :) they are all really fun to work with...so if i am laughing, it's probably because one of them is cracking me up, as usual :)
