hell yeah. i got my computer all up and running...FINALLY!! the webcam is back up...and there are lots of new scary pictures for you to look at :) i have a new 40 gb hard drive, complete with windows 2000 on it...who rocks? oh yeah, that's me :) i need to give myself a little praise after the FOUR HOURS it just took me to finish everything...*sigh* but now i can sit back in my room and watch some tv...only i can't run a cable into my room because as soon as we split the cable one more time, the modem goes down...oh i love moving...time to shower and actually socialize with people on a friday night :)

yep. still sick. bleh. i am feeling better though...hopefully if i just sleep for a couple of days, it will disappear...i am halfway done with my new hard drive install...i have it partitioned and formatted...however, i am missing my windows cd....so it's just sitting there with system files on it, but no windows. i will probably get a copy of windows 2000 server to put on my machine...then hopefully it will be super stable...but it's windows so you never know...anyway, that's my project for this weekend...my sister is having a party on sunday night...that should be a good time...hopefully the cops won't bust it too often. :) alright, work time!

finally!!! my room is all done! i have put everything away, organized all my crap...and cleaned everything imaginable...now all i have left to do is install my new hard drive, and i'm good to go! my computer completely froze with the webcam running, so i have decided to wait until my new drive is up and running to try and mess with it again...i am debating putting windows 2000 on it, but then i don't know how many of my programs i would lose...but i think windows 98 is outdated enough where it's time to move up...and with windows 2000, my computer is less likely to crash, meaning less down time for the camera! :) yippee. bailey is back in the apartment..i'm so glad :) he is so fun in the morning...as soon as it hits 7:30am...he's crawling all over me, trying to get me up...and if i don't move, he just sleeps on my pillow, waiting for me to start moving :) then once i am up, he gets all excited and follows me wherever i go. *sigh* i love my kitty! :) alright, time to do some actual work! :(

well, it's kind of working. i messed up the archive...and i haven't made a black and white small version yet...and the refresh applet isn't working in the remote window...but if you click on "webcam" it will give you the most recent picture!! i got a new hard drive last night, but i haven't installed it yet...that's tonight's project...anyway, you can see my new bed...and if the cat occasionally jumps on my bed, you can catch him on there too...nothing too exciting during the day...but i'll actually be live later on...it's amazing...alright, i'm swamped at work...which is a good thing...but i am also SICK... :( i hate colds...and i have a sinus one...yuck...itchy, watery eyes, scratchy throat, stuffed up nose...the works...oooo yeah...i'm gonna have fun today :(

alright, my computer is really jacked up. i need a new hard drive soooo bad. but i cannot afford one! so the webcam is temporarily offline until i can buy a new hard drive, and get it up and running :( my computer keeps crashing left and right...and now every time i try to load chillcam, it gives me an invalid page fault and crashes the program. want to help me out? donate to the cause. all proceeds will be put towards a new hard drive...nothing fancy, just something bigger than the 10gb that i currently have...and it has to be 7200rpm...not 5400...*sigh* this computer love of mine is expensive. :) i am also getting sick! aside from the violent attack of saturday, my throat is killing me! *sigh* my room is almost done though! yesterday, i got a bookshelf, a lamp, and a comforter! it's kind of a bright blue, but i think it's pretty :) my room is lookin pretty girlie, but at least it looks nice :) just a few more things to put away, and some things to put on the wall, and voila! i have my own room! aaaahhhhh...i love it! :) jackie and i made lasagna last night...well actually, jackie made it...i can already tell it will probably be her cooking the majority of the time...after i get home from work, cooking a meal is the last thing i want to do...but i feel bad for having her make everything so maybe it will motivate me to make dinner more...look out! :)

whew! i am all moved in!! it was a huge ordeal...never NEVER use Ryder truck for moving. I made a reservation three weeks ago for a truck for this weekend, and they called me friday morning to tell me they would not have a truck for me. so i had to round up and bribe my friends to let me borrow their vehicles...but we got everything here and up the millions of stairs...not everything is unpacked...i was supposed to get it all done this weekend, but i got violently sick on saturday night...i still don't know what the heck was wrong with me...so that postponed it a little...i took everyone that helped me move out to dinner...and sunday i relaxed :) andrew and marc finger are supposedly out here...i am having lunch with andrew today, but i haven't heard from marc yet...i didn't register for classes this semester, but i am signed up for the three remaining ones i need all in the spring. that's it. three classes stand between me and my diploma. so i am taking this break to do well at my job, and then i told them in the spring i am going to finish my classes. so my #1 priority in the spring will be school. no two ways about it. and i am determined, DETERMINED to finish well. it will have taken me way too long...but in the end...i will have a degree. :) *sigh* but for now, it's back to work...oh! tonight i will be bringing the webcam home! so look for some fun pictures tonight! woohoo! :) and soon, bailey can join me...i think creed is enjoying having a kitty too much...i may not get him back! :) who knows, sometime soon, i might have to get him a friend...then he won't be so lonely :) a couple more trips to the humane society, and i might have to do it! i am such a sucker for those cute little fur faces...alright, i really do have work to do!

I wonder what would happen if I talked about a fictitious COCAINE and CERAMIC GUNS SHIPMENT that will be delivered as payment for all of the XXX PORNO full of HORNY LESBIANS that FIDEL CASTRO received from the CIA. I bet that it wouldn't really generate hits as much as it would simply peeve the FBI and the NSA . They always get bent out of shape when people put up webpages that contain words like ASSASINATE, WEAPONS-GRADE URANIUM, or PRESIDENT.
I just hope that if you came to this site to find TEEN BEASTIALITY, you understand that you are in the wrong place... at least until carrie adds that new page I've been pleading for.

yeah...my thoughts on the whole wishlist phenomena...for the record, i had a "wish list" way before the whole amazon wishlist started...and it was mainly for myself and my family and real-life friends. then one day, a stranger sent me an item from it. his reason? "i felt like doing something nice for someone". what is wrong with that? chelle from chellecam got $1000 dollars from a random group of people, to help her move to florida. people are going nuts over this type of stuff...and here is where i draw the line. if you start soliciting yourself, your body (or images of) for the specific purpose of getting gifts...that's wrong. if you put up a site about yourself that contains pics...dirty or innocent...and people send you stuff, i don't think it's wrong. sure, people will argue that why put up a wishlist if you aren't expecting people to buy things for you? i think by posting what you would buy if you could if you had the money helps define your character a little more...and most of the time, you aren't expecting anyone to actually buy you stuff. but it's fun when people do. if they can afford it, i think it's a nice thing for people to do. kind of like a random act of kindness. as long as you aren't giving them something in return, like naked pictures of yourself, i don't see the harm. all these parents freaking out about their kids having webcams and getting gifts...like i said, unless they are giving these people something in return, RELAX! it's fun to get gifts...no one is being taken advantage of...and most of the time, these sites are pretty innocent...there are a select few sites that the news is focusing on...but overall...my site and the majority of sites like mine are FINE. there. i think that should do it. :)

alright! i finally got the scroll to work in ie6! anyone using a browser below this, please let me know if it works! that's the downfall of only having one working computer at the moment...i can only troubleshoot one version of a browser. sometime today, i am also going to put up the fun phone messages i have received, and put up a way for you to comment on them :) should be fun, and hopefully it will lead to people sending me more messages! i guess i should probably fix the photo album while i'm at it...but one thing at a time!

yuck bugs. being kept awake throughout the night in fear of those long, centipede-like bugs is killing me. bailey keeps a good lookout, but the other night, one got into bed....*shiver* creed got mad at me this morning, because now i keep him awake, worrying about the damn things. like it's my fault! bailey kills and eats the ones he finds...which is why i love my kitty so much...but there are some that even his acute eyes miss....*sigh* i need to find out what they are, and how to get rid of them....*blech*

forward march -- i remember a couple of years back scanning a list of random aol instant messenger screen names i'd called up on the service. i chose to view carrie's user info, and it was there that i found a link to her website and, eventually, the first "blog" that i'd ever seen. she didn't have one at that time. rediculously, it wasn't until nearly a year or so later that i visited her again, was treated to a new incarnation of her site (this time with blog), saw a totem poll of link buttons running down one side of her page, decided to click on one just for the heck of it, and suddenly discovered a whole new side (the soul) of the web. i couldn't get enough. now, this was truly a beautiful thing. bloggers possess and give me that which i subscribe to the internet for -- what it's really really good for. connection. a community of people expressing themselves (in words, and design), and linking the things they find amusing, silly, wonderful, sad, you name it...everything. i've always loved to write, especially during bursts of inspiration. this provides an outlet for that. it's a wonderful hobby for an internet junkie like myself. i love it. if no one else looks at my page, I look at my page, Ienjoy putting it together, and that's all that really matters. However, it's nice to see that others actually care to peek in on my thoughts from time to time as well. that is all. Matt

sorry for the lack of updates...creed has no internet access, and so i came into work to finish a couple of things and to check my email...since it is only a block away, it works out pretty well :) the cable modem is coming on friday to our new place, so i figured i might as well move my computer so that they can set it up. this weekend was pretty fun...staying with creed is pretty fun...my sister showed me her house on saturday...it's pretty nice...and then i mostly just hung out with creed and friends the rest of the weekend...only a couple more days til i get to move in...hopefully it won't be too much longer...i am getting antsy..i want to try out my new bed!! i seriously have been looking forward to that forever...i am such a dork :) that and to have my own room again will be so nice...*sigh*...friday better come fast!

whew. all moved out. i got up bright and early this morning...took the morning off of work and CLEANED the entire apartment all by myself. it took forever. i didn't get out of there til 12:45...and i almost didn't make it to work on time, but i managed. i moved all my stuff to creed's last night...he had a couple people over and we chilled til about 11:30...bailey loves his place! usually, he hides for at least half a day until he feels safe enough to explore...but he didn't waste any time last night, and by this morning, he was in waking me up as usual...he loves the big windows creed has...and was chilling on the futon like he owned the place :) so i will be staying with john for the next week...it's gonna be great :) laura and keith started working at ruby tuesday's this week...should be interesting...my sister is also moving all her stuff this week...monday night i am supposed to go over and help her out...as if moving my own stuff wasn't horrible enough...i feel like i have moved enough stuff this week to have moved four times...oh well...c'est la vie i guess....a week from monday, the webcam will be moving again! i think it will work out better...since no one really has time to check it during the day anyway :)

awww...my mom just sent me the sweetest email in the world...got a little misty... :) well, we are almost all moved out...last night, laura and keith and chris took the bed and all the other furniture...laura's computer, tv, and vcr...and miscellaneous other things...i packed everything but the kitty and some random things into the van...i was supposed to unpack everything to creed's today, but of course it had to start raining...might have to get wet today...suffer for the cause :) so now all i have left is to clean the place...i already cleaned the bathroom sink part...and the stove burners, etc...it's gonna take me forever to get everything all set...but i have til tomorrow at noon, and i took tomorrow morning off...so it should give me plenty of time...kitty was being so cute last night and this morning...definately a cuddler :) unfortuneately, that made my allergies go beserk, and i have been sneezing like crazy...*sigh* but he's so cute! :) alright, another busy day at work...got my chocolate milk and yogurt all set...now i need a cup of coffee and i should be rarin' to go!

fark.com featured this article today...which i thought was pretty funny. i have seen all of the sites they were referring to...and i mention this because i recently had a conversation with adam and andrew about the "wish list" subject...i started a wish list because my mom and dad kept asking me what i wanted for my birthday...so i put one online so that they could just log on instead of writing it down (my mom kept losing the list of stuff i wanted). i actually have received gifts from strangers...and at first, i was a little apprehensive about accepting the gift...but i tracked down the sender (who thought he sent it anonymously) and wrote him to a) let him know i knew who he was and b) to thank him. i wanted to make sure he did this as an act of kindness, and didn't expect anything from me...and he didn't. so things like that are ok...but i think i might put a disclaimer up there for people not to feel obligated to buy me something. chelle of chellecam openly begged for gifts from her wishlist...andrew told me i should have one up there and ask people for gifts and money...but i think everyone that knows me knows that's not my style. as much as i may need or want something...if i can't afford it myself, i am not one to go around begging my friends and random strangers for it. anyway, read the article. it's very interesting...and it made me feel old at the ripe age of 22...

yesterday was a big moving day...the ENTIRE utter family came out to help...it was pretty fun...lisa went on errands with me, while christen and jenna stayed back at the apartment...i want to take a trip over to their new place to see what it looks like...it is a huge place...it's going to make my new apartment look like a closet...but that will just give me an excuse to visit more :) i moved about half of my belongings over to creed's...the rest will get moved after i get my mom's van on tuesday...then hopefully i can get it all in one fowl fell swoop. i plan on being totally out of the apartment by thursday...then come back and clean it to death...it's lookin pretty scary...the lampshade in my room looks like someone beat it to death...pretty ghetto...but oh well...hopefully by friday morning i will have it all back to normal...or at least look like it's back to normal :) *sigh* i hate moving. really, i do.

whew...long day! last night, i went out with vince and his friends to the bar...and drank a labatts, a smirnoff ice, a black and blue (guiness and blue moon) and then a corona...yep...i was feeling that this morning...my body hated me for the rest of today...but i had to wake up this morning to go grab the bed for my room from marc's parent's house...laura is moving out tomorrow...and they are taking my loft bed with them to the new apartment...so i had to get the original bed back for me to sleep on...then creed gives me a call..and he swung by with his parents and his grandma...and all of us went down to the folk festival...so i got to meet his family...which was really cool...i really liked them a lot...it made me feel a little wierd weird though...i still don't consider myself to be john's girlfriend...after the folk fest, we went over to his friend's bbq for a couple of hours...and a couple of people asked "is this your friend, john?" friend. yep. so i am his "friend". whatever. a friend who has a key to his place...or will in a couple days anyway. man, this relationship is the wierdest weirdest i have ever been in. anyway, tomorrow will be another long day moving laura...but tonight is the meteor shower! i thought we would go tomorrow night, but it looks like the brightest times are the morning of the 12th...which would be tonight..so sometime after midnight we are gonna pack up and go see 'em :) should be beautiful...we used to do it all the time when we were younger...i can't wait :)

welp, my computer is back online...but only temporarily...something is seriously jacked up on it...i tried to reinstall windows and it keeps freezing trying to scan my hard drive...so for the time being, i am just going to keep it running until i move into my new place and can afford to get a new hard drive...*sigh* anyone got one they would like to donate? :) laura and keith are moving out this weekend into their new place with chris...i think that will make the move easier on them...and it will make cleaning the apartment before next friday a lot easier...hopefully i will have the time to pack a lot of my stuff this weekend so that i can start moving it all over to creed's...i am sure he probably isn't looking forward to stashing all my stuff...but he said he IS looking forward to me staying with him for a week...i think it will be weird at first...since we will get up, go to work together, and then come home together...but i think if i go in before him (since i am usually there before him anyway) then it won't be too weird. other than that, i think that week will be very interesting, to say the least :) but that's not for another week...and i have a million + things to do before then...mainly packing but i have to finish up my crap for school before the semester ends...argh. i got new tap shoes yesterday...i love them!! now i just have to find a wide open place to go practice before lessons start, so that i don't look like a complete ass. but i cannot wait! i think i may even be in a recital in the spring...how crazy would that be? i would invite all my friends...it would be so funny...a little scary...but funny :) but only if it is a good dance...not some cheesy crap...

i have debated bringing in my computer to work so that i can get the pictures etc off of the hard drive before it totally dies...but i might just break down tonight and go buy a hard drive from best buy...write a check, and then hope they don't cash it until friday...i think it will be ok til then :) i just know i won't have time to work on it next week at all, and i move out a week from friday, so i need to have it working before i pack everything up...*sigh*...i also need to go buy a mattress and boxsprings from sams club...here is some fun news though! i signed up for tap class in september...it's only $24/month...and i figured that would be a fun one day a week work out that i wouldn't mind going to! i really miss those classes, and the instructor said i can try out the first class and if i decide i don't want to come back, i don't have to pay for anything...woohoo! but i know i will love the classes...so i think i might also go buy some new tap shoes for the occasion...there have been these shoes that i have wanted for forever...they look sweet...and people have said the sound is spectacular...so i'll have to test them out and see if i like them or not...i am so excited! :)

well, my computer is fucked. plain and simple. i tried booting...and yep..."error loading explorer.exe you must reinstall windows"...translation: time to get a new hard drive and reinstall everything. *sigh*. i am just praying to god i don't lose all my pictures...after i get paid i am getting a new hard drive...40 gigs baby. i almost filled up the 10 that i currently have...so i guess it was time anyway...
anyway, about minnesota...saturday i got there and we hung out with kathy and adam's roommate john...then had a party which rocked...ping pong is fun...especially after you have had about 7 beers :) then sunday we drove to minneapolis to see moulin rouge...i finally decided that i liked it...i really like the soundtrack now...and the plot was really good...ewan mcgregor is freakin hot! plus his acting is some of the best i have ever seen...i have yet to see him in a movie that i haven't liked...he and nicole kidman can sing...not broadway-tony good...but pretty decent...better than i could ever do :) then monday i got to play "crazy taxi" for the playstation 2...that game rocks! :) i need to start playing more video games, i think... :) anyway, i left monday and got back to lansing around midnight...i had a really fun time and adam's house is awesome...when i get my computer back up and running, i will post those pictures, as well as all the ones from sween's wedding and bachlorette party...those are some really good ones! :) alright, time to get back to work...

back from minnesota and visiting adam! it was super fun...but now my computer isn't working! it was ok when i left..but when i got home "you must reinstall windows" is flashing on my screen...*sigh* looks like it is time for a new hard drive. i needed a bigger one anyway...but sheesh! i was not expecting to replace a million things in my computer...so until i get paid on friday, my computer is out of commission. at least i have my work one to deal with...alright, i will write more about my trip tomorrow...it's late and i need sleep! :)

yep. it's a new layout. it took forever, but i was bound and determined to get it up before i left this weekend...i combined all of my previous sites...and i still have a couple of other things i want to add...if you can't see the webcam image...it is because that server is currently down. sorry! hopefully it will be back up this weekend, but be patient...after all, they are hosting me for free! so enjoy the pics, etc...there are still some sections that need to be fixed...but for now, this will have to do! ;)

well golfing was fun last night! i can't wait for this friday...it is going to be so fun! i have decided to add a couple new sections onto the new site...phone messages and fun emails. i get the craziest messages on my phone..and i keep them all! so i am going to post the funny ones on there...same with emails...should be good! i also plan on putting up the new layout within a week or so...so keep checkin back! in other news, i am flying to minnesota this weekend to visit my friend adam! :) check the photo album...he is in a pic with his brother's dog...it should be a good time...i get to fly first class since my mom works for northwest and can get the tickets super cheap! :) creed and i decided that we want to take a trip sometime soon to some crazy place like hawaii before i lose my benefits! as soon as my mom retires in june...no more cheap flying for me! so we have til then to take a fun trip :) alright, i have to go dry my hair so that i am not late for work...
