i'm taking a break from the complete and full cleaning of my room... i think i might put the live webcam back up. i'd only have it on at certain times when i am online... especially since classes are almost over, so i'll have more time to putz around on my site :) people seem to like those a lot anyway... so i've got to figure out how to host in on my machine without crashing it. that's my procrastination project for tonight (projects i do when i am procrastinating for something else) :)

just got back from my parent's for the holidays... it was a fun weekend at home! i got an early christmas present: a new couch and sofa! it's really comfortable, and i can't wait to get it out here :) my parent's are awesome, and they are always helping me out with stuff like that. i also got my cats an early christmas present (yes, i buy my cats xmas presents). it's called "the bird" and they freakin love it. bailey and mia take turns carrying it around the house. when one drops it, the other one attacks it and takes it away. hilarious :) this is our last week of class... and then finals and i'm done!!! i can't wait. i have two big projects due by the end of the week... so i'll be busy until after finals... but a week from tuesday and i'm DONE! :) and then the party begins... :)

so i got to hang out with adam and his fiance becky last night... that was pretty fun. i love catching up with old friends :) i got to hear all about plans for their wedding, which is next oct 18... i'm already planning on my trip to minnesota for it :) it's insane how many people have gotten married in the past few years. all my single friends are sort of grouping together as our group gets smaller and smaller. all through high school i remember joking about who out of our friends would get married first, etc. now we're making bets on whose gonna have the next kid. crazy. i also was reading a list on dave's site about knowing you are old when your friends get married and divorced rather than get together and break up. just another sign of how time flies, i guess.. :)

so here's a fun thing for christmas... you can sign up to be a secret santa. you just give them your email and the link to your amazon wishlist. then on dec 10, you get a name emailed to you, with a link to their wishlist, and you can buy them something off of it. the shipping address remains anonymous, so it all works out pretty fun :) so be a secret santa. who knows, maybe you'll get me! :)

oh i forgot to mention about what we did pre-bar... as part of the "celebration" i went with my roommate and her sister and we all got our hair dyed/highlighted. it was fun, spending a day at the salon... and now my hair looks sweet. it's not a huge change, cause i'm not a fan of dramatic changes on myself, but i like it... it's a subtle change :)

so last night was pretty crazy. not really, but i drank way more than i thought... and i don't remember things after a certain point in the evening. i hate that. i hate not remembering what went on. we started out by predrinking at a friend's house on grove, then made our way to the bar... then we stayed til it closed. at some point in the evening i fell off of my chair as the very graceful person i am, and now i have a bruise on my elbow. oops. my roommate carried me around for a bit (i'm sorry about that, by the way), since my shoes (that made me super tall) were a little hard to walk in when you're drunk. i guess i was pretty entertaining... but i'll have to take their word for it. i didn't get sick, but man, i almost wish i would have. then i wouldn't have felt like total ass all day today. but it was fun, believe it or not :) i hadn't drank in so long, and since i didn't really get to drink for my birthday, i celebrated that and losing 40 lbs. yeah, i hit the 40lb mark on saturday, so i thought that was cause for celebration :) a little too much celebration, i'm afraid... :)

so i don't have to go to the doctor's anymore! woohoo! i'm healed! i've been going every day for the past two and a half weeks. it sucked. but no more! i also found a rhythm tap class in ann arbor... it's about an hour away, once a week... it starts after dec. 15 so i have to see how much it is and if i really want to do it... i've read so many good things about it though that i think i might make the drive anyway... to finally find a studio that i really enjoy would be worth it :) plus they have adult intermediate and two advanced classes... which i would fit in perfectly with. i can't wait. :) last night i played the sims... and broke my game. i don't know how... but it looks like it has issues with xp. it won't save any of my games anymore, even after reinstalling it. i might just have to completely remove it and start from scratch. *sigh*. computer problems suck...

so yeah, i got the sims unleashed. i had a $25 dollar gift card for best buy, so it was worth it. it's awesome! :) i got a cat and a dog... pretty fun times :) my roommate was making fun of me, because i was ignoring my cat sitting behind me to play with my sims cat. yeah, i'm retarded. but supposedly you can download skins for your animals, to make them different breeds... gonna have to check that out sometime... work? homework? sims! :) good thing school is almost over... i know what i'll be hooked on this year for christmas...

well another birthday has come and gone. i went out to eat with laura and keith and my sister... that was a fun time. although, i found out yesterday that my insurance doesn't cover the clinic that i've been going to. oops. so now i have to figure out how much it's gonna cost me. hopefully they'll cover it since it was an urgent care sort of thing... anyway, we'll see. i also feel like i'm coming down with a cold... my throat has been killing me all day, and i feel like i have a fever. *sigh*. i want to crawl into bed for a while and stay there :)

well, my actual birthday isn't until tomorrow, but we celebrated on saturday down in ann arbor, and it rocked! i danced non stop for like 3 hours. my surgery hurt a bit yesterday, and i got a warning from my doctor this morning saying i had to take it easy... but it was worth it :) thanks to all of you that came... we stayed til the club closed at 2am, and then went to denny's until 3:30am... pretty fun times. i wish we had a place like that around east lansing. it's not every day that i get to be a "club sandwhich" :) or that i get to be spun around like a crazy person. it was fun to get everyone together... it sucks that everyone has moved so far away. oh well, it makes sat all the more fun :) a big thank you to my roommate's sister and her husband for letting us crash her house... they are awesome :) anyway, now it's monday and i've got 3 weeks of school left (thank god) but that means i'm super busy. one of our group projects is due next week, and the other is due the week after that. then three finals and I'M DONE. then comes the party!! :) i still plan on having a party to celebrate that i'm done with school. for real this time :) so if any of you are in the east lansing area around christmas, you should stop on by...

here's something crazy. apparently kelly osbourne has a new album "shut up" and a video for it. that's not the crazy part. the new girl drummer in her band is from michigan. but wait, it get's crazier. she used to be in creed's band. yep, the one and only creed i know. he used to rave about her drumming skills all the time, and i've seen a couple videos from their olden days, and she was incredible. but now that she is the new osbourne's drummer, she'll be on the show this fall. insane. :)

my medication sucks. right now i feel so dizzy. it's a side effect of the antibiotic i am on, and i want to go lie down. but i'm at work, and i think if someone walked by with me lying on the ground under my desk, they might be concerned. :) i feel like i rode the tilt-a-whirl too long... hopefully it will go away shortly... otherwise today is gonna suck...

yeeha! found a place to go for my birthday, finally. laura told me about a club called the millenium club in ann arbor, so that's where we are going on saturday night. the doors open at 10pm, so you are all invited :) the more, the merrier, since all my friends moved away... :)

so i'm pretty stoked. the paper that i wrote about the mobile speed pass got me a 4.0 in my tc class! not only that, but only 2 4.0's were given. me and one other person! and, the prof wrote that i "should think about writing for publication because [my] writing is so clear". :) and i was worried... :)

so far the pain has subsided... i just can't sit for very long. but i can drive myself around now, and i can sit without the donut. not bad :) as tuesday and thursday roll around, we'll see how it feels to determine if i can go to class or not. this week should be pretty busy. i have a group project meeting today, an exam tuesday, another meeting wednesday, and who knows what at work. only 4 weeks left of class, so now all my group projects are due. so i'll be busy for the next 4 weeks, that's for sure. my birthday is coming up though, on the 19th... hopefully i can plan on something this upcoming weekend to celebrate... but we'll see how it goes. what i think is gonna suck is that i can't drink while on my antibiotics... and i have a feeling i'm still gonna be on them for it. *sigh* oh well. i'm only turning 24, so it's not like it's a huge number.. but man, i do feel old.

well the pain stopped, for the most part, thanks to the pain killers. i started back at work yesterday and today, for half days. i still don't feel quite right. probably won't for a little bit. somehow this weekend we are supposed to shoot our commercial for my class... we'll see how that goes. i think we are going to meet up at work on sunday afternoon to get it done. once i have the final product finished, i'll send the link... should be a good one :)

pain. oh my god, the pain. it was so bad this morning, i called the clinic to see if i could get pain medication... but they wanted me to come in and see if i needed surgery. i did. and if i thought the pain was bad before... the surgery had me yelling. so after two hours, i am finally back home, with some heavy duty pain killers... i was prescribed vicadin for the first time ever... so now i just feel a dull ache on my tailbone. supposedly i am not supposed to go to school or work for a week... but we'll see. i have an exam tuesday and a studio shoot sunday and work due like yesterday... too much crap to do to just sit around. oh wait, i can't sit. *sigh* god hates me, i think.

good lord. i went to the doctor today, and found out i have a cyst over my tailbone area... and it's causing an infection. that would explain why i am in pain whenever i sit anywhere. i couldn't figure it out. i hadn't fallen or anything... and i couldn't figure out how else i might have bruised my tailbone. so now i am just taking antibiotics, and then i have to meet next week to figure out what to do from there. most likely, they have to do surgery to remove it. *sigh* so much for muay thai. we'll see though... it just hurts to sit... not to kick stuff :) and my upper body is fine... so we'll see what i can get away with :)

well, so far this weekend has been fun... i had two deadlines for friday for work, and i was frantically trying to get them done. but when i tried to go into work late thursday night, i was locked out! so i had to come in at 5am on friday morning... that was a pain. but i got them done, and everything worked out. last night i wound up going to a party with my roommate and her sister... it was hilarious. i had to make a costume at the last minute, so my sister lent me her devil horns and red boa... and i borrowed a crazy blue shirt from my roommate's sister... and i was a "devil in a blue dress". i got the idea from vinnie, who told me about noelle dressing up for it this year. one guy kept yelling the lyrics to the song everytime he saw me... good times :) my roommate was barbie, and her sister was daphne and her husband was fred from scooby doo. they looked awesome. but her sister is famous for her halloween costumes. she makes them herself, and they always rock. so i'm still recovering from last night, and i decided to take it easy tonight. i'm visiting my parents tomorrow, since i haven't been home in forever... should be fun :) now it's time to catch up on some sleep :)

so here i am, still awake, still trying to get work done. i decided to forego the celebrations this year for halloween... i have too much crap to get done. i can party some other night :) i'm planning on going home on sunday to have dinner with my parents... and then study like crazy for my exam on monday. i pretty much have it figured out that since i did so well in the beginning part of the semester, i can fail the rest of the class, and still pass :) so i am graduating, no matter what. go figure. :)
